How We Give Back

In 2012, we spent $5,396.95 to buy glasses for 49 people and $3,125.00 to buy hearing aids for people in our community who couldn’t afford them.

We also provided Christmas Baskets and Thanksgiving Baskets for local families, held a Halloween Costume Contest, Easter Egg Hunt, Morris High School Scholarships for Citizen of the Year, the Pete Muffler Scholarship for Grundy County High School students, sent 2 high school seniors to the World Affairs Seminar, made improvements to Morris City Lions Park, donated to seven local schools, helped the Morris Fire Department, supported We Care, Operation St. Nick, Morris Hospital, Morris Public Library, Morris Theater Guild, Illinois Eye Bank, Leader Dog, REACH, St. Vincent, provided food for Camp Lions and much more, for a grand total of over $57,000.
